The communications department is tasked with sharing news about our schools, students, and staff. In addition to our website, we communicate with the CVUSD family in many ways.

ParentSquare Messenger - our messaging system that sends out notices via text, email, and phone calls
Press Releases - sent out to local media detailing the amazing things that happen in our district
Articles - submitted to The Desert Sun,
Videos - including the opportunities to showcase the district
Media Interviews - serving as the spokesperson for CVUSD
Special Promotions - including organizing and promoting events such as Coffee with the principals
Branding – Brand review, ensuring that the visual elements of our brand represent the district
Emergency Preparedness - serving as the spokesperson in a time of crisis and sharing the latest information
The CVUSD communications department is a branch of the superintendent's office and includes the Public Information Officer.
