School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs)

The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is a state- and federally mandated report that provides families, community members, and other educational partners with important information about each public school.

SARCs are published annually and provide information about the school’s programs, student performance, school environment, staffing, and resources. The report is designed to promote transparency and help families and the community better understand each school’s progress and performance.

SARCs may include information such as:

• School Profile and Mission
• Student Demographics
• Academic Performance
• School Safety and Facilities
• Class Size
• Teacher and Staff Qualifications
• Curriculum and Instruction
• College and Career Preparation
• School Finances and Expenditures

California law requires public schools to provide an annual SARC to parents and the community. SARCs are generally released each spring and report on information from the previous academic year. SARCs for all CVUSD schools are available online through the District website and through Find a SARC.
