Proposition 28: Arts and Music in Schools Funding

Proposition 28: Arts and Music in Schools (AMS) funding provides dedicated state resources to expand student access to high-quality arts education. These funds supplement—not replace—existing district funding and support additional arts instruction, programs, and opportunities for students. Annual allocations are distributed to schools using a state-established enrollment formula and follow a three-year expenditure timeline.
