Manually back up photos & videos
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Photos app

- Sign in to your Google Account.
- Open the photo or video.
- Tap Back up now.
- Alternatively, you can tap the Back up button or scroll to the bottom, and then tap Back up now.
Tips:
- When you open a single photo and you don't have enough storage: The badge shows "Not enough storage to back up."
- If you want to back up multiple photos or videos: Touch and hold the photos or videos you want to back up, and then tap Back up.
Check a photo or video's backup status
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Photos app

- Tap a photo or video.
- Tap More

- Scroll to “Details.”
- If the photo is backed up, the backup status and size displays beneath Backed up

- For live photos, the On-Device size may not show the full storage size and won't match the backup size.

Delete photos on your iPhone, and iPad It's easy to delete the photos and videos that you don't want anymore, just tap the Trash icon. You can also learn how to make space on your device and how to get your photos back if you accidentally delete them.
Make space on your deviceBefore you delete anything, make sure that you that you still want. When you use iCloud Photo Library and delete a photo or video on one device, it's also deleted on all other devices where you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

Keep only what you wantTap

Erase iPad using Settings

Go to the Settings app
on your iPad. -
Tap General, then tap Transfer or Reset iPad.

Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

If asked, enter your iPad passcode or Apple Account password.

Tap Continue to confirm.

Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update. The currently installed version of iOS is shown, and whether an update is available.

If an update is available, tap Download and Install, then follow the onscreen instructions.
