Parenting Partners is a parenting program composed of eight two-hour workshops. The program combines parenting and leadership skills so that parents become fully engaged in their children academic success. A trained parent group presents the workshops seeking for participants to:
Master practical academic skills
Learn family literacy activities
Learn positive ways to communicate with teachers and staff
Learn how to create a strong home learning environment
Effective home discipline
Ending cycles of useless arguments
Replace patterns of yelling and conflict with positive communication
Connect with children through listening and focused family time
Parents on a Mission is a 6-workshop program that helps parents build a support system that sets the foundation for student achievement.
POM helps parents with their own emotional maturity and the relationship they develop with their sons/daughters. POM instructs the parents on how to win the loyalty of their children even in the mist of the many negative experiences children are faced with on a daily basis.
