Gifted And Talented Education

Gifted individuals are those who demonstrate outstanding levels of aptitude or competence in one or more domains.

Students with special gifts and talents need more challenging curriculum and instruction. The Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program is offered to students in grades three through six who have been identified as academically gifted through state and district testing. GATE students are clustered in the general education classroom to receive differentiated instruction from GATE-trained teachers.
